October 2014 – May 2015 diving season finished last week and we would like to take this opportunity to say a BIG THANK YOU to all those who made it such a great seven months of safe an&d enjoyable scuba diving in Thailand. Without the help and hard work of the dive centres’ staff & crew our hundreds of guests wouldn’t have been able to enjoy sharing time underwater with an amazing array of fish, reptiles and invertebrates. There were also dolphins and whales swimming alongside boats, and even a sighting of two Orca (Killer Whales)! It really was an exciting, rewarding and safe diving season, which included multiple interactions with Manta Rays & Whale Sharks at Koh Bon, Koh Tachai & Richelieu Rock, as well as lots of smaller and really interesting stuff all over the best diving sites of Thailand.
We would also like to thank you, our diving guests. At every stage of your experience we have tried to provide the best service and advice, along with offering the best value. Some of our guests have already left a review at Trip Advisor and we would be delighted if more did the same. You can also email us directly with your valuable feedback. This season we had many more guests than in previous years, and we hope that we were still able to keep everyone happy before, during and after their liveaboard cruise or diving day trip. Our customers came from all over the world, and include babies to pensioners, absolute beginners to diving professionals, and from all walks of life. In addition to solo divers and couples, we had large groups, including 10 from Poland and 8 from India, as well as lots of families. Thank you for being part of something special. We hope you enjoyed your trip!
What was new?
In addition to adding a few boats to our fleet of nearly 40, we were able to work with some wonderful people from new businesses that complemented our dive centres.
A special thanks goes to Andy Cutting at Walker’s Inn, who gave invaluable help to guests. Most of them ate and drank at Khao Lak’s best restaurant, while a few dropped off their luggage to be guarded safely or just borrowed some free wifi. Andy’s hospitality is extremely highly respected locally, and now internationally. We also took advantage of Jo’s taxi service, as well as Andy’s and Jo’s clean, air-conditioned and inexpensive accommodation in the centre of town. Finally, we gave away hundreds of our unique t-shirts, which have been photographed all over the world, both above and below the surface. We enjoy receiving or seeing our t-shirts in new or different places, and would love you to send or show us yours. Marco & Franziska currently have the best t-shirt picture. Can you do better than them? Guests who didn’t receive a t-shirt, please contact us today. We will do our best to get it/them to you, wherever you are in the world.
Our most popular boats this season were the ‘Usual Suspects’ of Manta Queens, 1, 2, 3 & 7 and Peter Pan. However, we also added Sea Heaven, which was extremely good value and took many happy guests during the middle of the season, and MV Nemo 1 added some competition for MV Camic, both of which offer great-value flexible trips. This season also saw a huge rise in the number of guests who joined diving cruises on larger and more luxurious boats. Trips on MV Pawara and MV Hallelujah may cost a little more, but the guests who were able to treat themselves enjoyed the best luxury per Baht/Dollar available. More customers than ever before booked on MV Scuba Adventure from Phuket, and Wet Cat was once again our most popular for diving day trips to Richelieu Rock. We would also like to say a special thanks to Jamie Walsh at MV Oktavia, who is always on hand to give the best and most efficient help and advice, including very last-minute bookings and taking care of large families on board.
Now it is ‘low/closed season’ at the best diving sites in Thailand, and we spend a few months preparing website pages, adding new boats, advertising special offers, and taking bookings for the season to come. The wise and well-prepared divers have already booked liveaboard cruises for on a selection of boats, with the majority securing the best spots on cruises at Christmas 2015 and New Year 2016. We are also building www.NoTroublesJustBubbles.com which includes our boats and trips in Thailand, as well as other nearby countries. This enables our guests to try somewhere new or different while enjoying the same booking experience and service. Please visit regularly, as the website is growing every day.
Many many thanks to you all, wherever you are in the world, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
