A Review of Nemo 2 Day Trip Diving

Nice dive shop with prompt, organized, and safety-first staff. The Nemo 2 speedboat was comfortable and fast, and the dive boat was clean and orderly with a helpful crew, good cook, friendly guides, and comfortable space for dive briefings, resting during dive interval, and room for gear. One individual in my dive group had faulty rental equipment on our dive which caused a slightly shortened dive for our group. That being said, my equipment was fine and seemed to be fully functional. Only a couple of hiccups in communication between Jamie (No Troubles Just Bubbles), Dive Shop staff, and actual dive crew: I didn't get a t-shirt as promised when I went to the dive shop (not a huge deal, but would have been good to know). Also, I had asked whether towels would be provided on the boat or not. The dive shop said yes so I didn't bring one, but when I got to boat, they said they only gave towels to overnight guests, not day-trip guests. This was not major, just odd, but we eventually scrounged up a towel to share after asking around on the boat. The diving was easy and warm water was great (no wetsuit), lots of small tropical fish, Christmas tree worms, and a few soft corals--overall pleasant but nothing spectacular in the rocky reefs. Also the boat doesn't allow you to go on land and see the beautiful white-sand beaches (due to timing), so that was kind of a bummer but you can't do everything in a day trip. Next time an overnight stay would probably be better as you have time to do much more.
