MV Harmony is one of the very best value liveaboard diving vessels available for diving safaris in the Similan Islands. All of her trips are 4 days and 4 nights, visiting Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and the world-famous Richelieu Rock after the first couple of days at the Similan Islands. She is 25m in length with a width of 5.5m, making her of average size for these kinds of trips. However, with fewer guests and lower prices than many of her competitors, places sell out fast. Spaces in her air-conditioned cabins are all priced the same, but there is a choice of single-bed private cabin, twin bunks, and the Harmony Suite with a double bed.
Western breakfast is served after each day’s first dive, then lunch and dinner are buffet style with enough food and choice to cater for all appetites and tastes. Everything but beer and soft drinks is included in the very competitive prices. That means pickup from your hotel in Phuket or Khao Lak, National Marine Park entrance and diving fees, and a full set of diving equipment. Guests from Phuket are transferred by road and MV Harmony sails from Khao Lak to save time at sea. Socializing and ‘private time’ facilities include a large LCD television, sun deck and dining area. Of course, she has a dinghy for returning divers and shuttle runs to the pristine beaches, as well as a full complement of safety equipment. PADI and SSI courses are easily taught on liveaboard trips. In fact , it's the best place to do one. There are lots of options available, from a one or two dive mini-course, such as Deep Adventure Dive, to an Open Water Diver course for those who have never dived before. By far the most popular diving course on a liveaboard boat is the Advanced Open Water course. This is 5 interesting and exciting dives with a fully-qualified instructor. Nitrox (enriched-air diving) is also popular, as is Discover Scuba Diving (intro dive) for those who just want to try. While the pricing of the diving coures on this particular boat is still under construction, please contact us for quotes and advice for taking part in a PADI or SSI diving course on this liveaboard cruise.
