MV Nangnuan Overview
For 20 years Nangnuan had been a budget liveaboard boat that ran 3D/2N trips but now it is a day trip boat going to Boonsung Wreck nearly every day of the week. The boat is ideal for these short day trips, and the team's service and great food remain as popular and excellent as ever.
Boonsung Wreck is not far from the mainland, so sailing times are short, but sometimes you may hope for longer on board to enjoy the company, view and fresh air. You're taken from your local hotel or the dive centre to a small transfer boat and then on board Nangnuan for a great day's dive adventure. At Boonsung Wreck there are so many different creatures that you won't know which way to look. There are lots of Scorpionfish, Scorpionfish, Moray Eels and nudibranchs. Also there are huge shoals of snapper and other fish. And every now and then a Whaleshark pays a visit! The visibility can be good, average or not good, but every day the marine life makes it a great dive site.
Although diving on Nangnuan is ‘back to basics’ there is still a full complement of great food and service. Beer is reasonably priced for after the last dive, and everyone gets to know each other from the start.
Divers of all levels of experience are welcome on Nangnuan's trips.

MV Nangnuan Courses
Taking part in a PADI diving course is exciting and rewarding. Doing so aboard a liveaboard diving safari is something special.
MV Nangnuan Itinerary
Nangnuan departs from Khao Lak in the morning, and guests need to visit the dive centre the day before to sign a few forms, pay the balance, and so the team can prepare equipment, and make sure food requirements are dealt with. Therefore, staying in Khao Lak (not Phuket) the night before departure is necessary.
A more-detailed itinerary is below this text.
MV Nangnuan Transfer Details
At the beginning of each trip Nangnuan guests are invited to arrive at the dive centre in central Khao Lak on time for a morning departure. Everyone is then transferred for free from the dive centre to Nanguan, which is waiting just off the coast. Guests are taken out by small transfer boat, then sail to Boonsung Wreck.
At the end of the trip, guests are brought back to the dive centre, then offered transfers to local hotels and guesthouses.
For customers who would like a private taxi please see below for details.

This payment is most-commonly made via PayPal, without any fees. You don't need a Paypal account, although PayPal do encourage you to open one. The PayPal invoice can be sent to any email address and payment can be made by anyone.
The 70% balance and extras such as park fees, transfers and any equipment rental and/or courses can be paid when you arrive in Khao Lak. There is an ATM near the dive centre, and several banks in Khao Lak.
Cancellation policy:
Customers who need to cancel their trip on Nangnuan normally lose the deposit paid, and Similan Diving Tours pass all of this on to the dive centre.
